LANCASTER : Man Found Fatally Shot on His Porch
The death of a man found in Lancaster with a single gunshot wound in his back is being investigated by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department homicide detectives, officials said Monday.
Deputies responding to a “shots fired” call at 3:30 p.m. Sunday found the body of Brian Stockberger, 39, on the front porch of his house in the 43100 block of 11th Street East, sheriff’s spokeswoman Diane Hecht said.
She added that no weapons were recovered.
