NEW PRICE AGE: After a great College World Series and becoming the No. 1 draft pick, ex-Cal State Fullerton third baseman Phil Nevin was a natural to win the Golden Spikes Award on Tuesday (C9) as outstanding U.S. amateur baseball player.
