Man Held in Slaying of Adoptive Parents, 3 Others

HOUSTON —
A man was arrested along with his roommate in the slayings of his adoptive parents and three other relatives whose bodies were found bound and gagged inside a burning house. Robert Otis Coulson, 24, was arrested at a hotel Tuesday after the roommate, Jared Althaus, 23, confessed his role in the slayings, police said. The two were charged with capital murder.
