La Crosse Coasts Past Redlands

LA CROSSE, Wis. — John Janke ran for two touchdowns and Jason Gonnion passed for two more to lead Wisconsin La Crosse to a 47-26 victory over Redlands in the first round of the NCAA Division III playoffs Saturday.
La Crosse (9-0-1) will play Central of Pella, Iowa, in the quarterfinals next Saturday.
After failing to score in the first quarter, La Crosse overcame a 7-0 deficit with 21 points in the second quarter and never looked back.
Redlands (8-2) scored two touchdowns in the final 35 seconds of the game to narrow the margin.
