Riddick Bowe’s first defense of the world heavyweight championship could be staged as a Super Bowl halftime alternative programming spectacular, his manager Rock Newman, said. Bowe would defend against a secondary contender on the Fox Television Network at the end of the first half of the Super Bowl on Jan. 31.
