Corso Is a One-Man Heisman PR Machine
I’m praying for the day that ESPN’s Lee Corso gets back into coaching so I won’t have to be further subjected to his ignorant commentary on the Heisman Trophy race.
First, he personally created Garrison Hearst’s pseudo-candidacy, then he mobilized the Gino Torretta bandwagon. Then, this past Saturday, he felt compelled to throw the token Notre Dame player (Reggie Brooks) into the fold.
Corso summed up his ignorance after Saturday’s games by leaving the most deserving candidate (Marshall Faulk) off his list of three Heisman finalists. So I say to any school, anywhere, preferably Antarctica, take Lee Corso. Please.
