SAN DIEGO : Man Found Shot to Death in Home
A Logan Heights man has been found shot to death in his home, a police spokeswoman said.
Lacy Kirk Terry, 66, was found dead at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday in the living room of his home in the 2000 block of Harrison Street, Lt. Barbara Harrison said. He had been shot in the chest and abdomen, a county medical examiner said.
Witnesses told police that Terry had missed a routine morning walk. His body was discovered by a friend and nephew when they checked on him, Harrison said.
Neighbors said they had heard gunfire or firecrackers about 10 p.m. Monday, Harrison said, but did not call police.
Detectives were investigating.
