Oscar Item No. 1: Jeff Margolis will direct the 65th annual Academy Awards broadcast, producer Gilbert Cates announced. The March 29 Oscars will be the fifth consecutive show directed by Margolis, who won a Directors Guild of America award for the 62nd show and Emmy nominations for the 63rd and 64th shows. The show will air on ABC.
