Doctors worked to save the vision in the right eye of a University of Michigan women’s basketball player who was hit by shattered glass while riding on an airport shuttle.
Tannisha Stevens, 18, was injured Saturday when a window shattered on the van as it transported passengers from Miami International Airport to a downtown hotel, a university spokeswoman said. The window apparently shattered accidentally, police said.
