San Clemente’s Hornig Leads U.S. Youth Team

Tim Hornig of San Clemente High School scored three goals Monday night to lead the United States Youth Team to a 16-5 victory over Puerto Rico at The North American Classic, an international water polo tournament in Dallas.

The U.S. team, which includes players 17 and younger, including many from Orange County, has won four games in the tournament. Craig Thomas of Esperanza has been in goal for half of each game.
