Ben Johnson of Canada was disqualified from a Mobil Grand Prix indoor race after two false starts in the 60-meter dash at Saskatoon, Canada. Later, Johnson said he was too fast for the race officials. “I react so fast to the gun they can’t believe I’m not jumping the gun,” he said. “I’m very disappointed.” Jon Drummond of the United States won the race in a time of 6.64 seconds, setting a meet record.
