Fan Who Scuffled With Solis After Race Files a Complaint
The fan who scuffled with Alex Solis at Santa Anita has filed a complaint of battery against the jockey, the Arcadia police said Tuesday.
Solis, after riding an odds-on favorite to a third-place finish in the last race at Santa Anita on Dec. 30, scuffled with Vincent Arias, 37, of Chino, on the way back to the jockeys’ room. Arias has said that he suffered a broken nose and a black eye.
Solis’ mounts earned $8.8 million last year, ranking him 10th nationally.
