The Boston Celtics said some evidence shows that rookie Marcus Webb was stopped by Boston police, as he contended, but that police did not violate his rights.
Webb had said that last Friday he was stopped by police, who tore up the interim driver’s license from Alabama that he showed them. Police say they have no record of the incident.
