Pro-Life Video
In response to “If Anne Archer Can, Why Not Joe Gibbs?” Column Right, Jan. 8:
I have not seen the pro-life athletes video, “Life . . . the Way of Champions,” and Chris Godfrey’s description seems narrow in focus.
As one would expect this film of professional football players to appeal to young men, does it reflect on male choices and responsibilities in ending unwanted pregnancy? One would hope that the film would educate its audience on sexual abstinence, vasectomy, contraception, financial responsibility and the lifelong nurturing of children, truly the miracle of life.
Sports heroes can be instrumental in teaching young men their own role in preventing abortions. If this film does so, they are champions, indeed.
