Utility Picks Arcadia Man for New Executive Position

SCEcorp and its Southern California Edison subsidiary promoted 20-year company veteran Al Fohrer, 42, of Arcadia to the new position of senior vice president, treasurer and chief financial officer.
The appointment was effective immediately.
Fohrer most recently served as vice president, treasurer and chief financial officer of SCEcorp and SCE.
Fohrer joined SCE in 1973 and has had responsibilities in finance and engineering. He also served as assistant treasurer for the company.
He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degrees in civil engineering from USC and a master’s degree in business administration from Cal State Los Angeles.
Eric A. Donnelly, a former member of San Gabriel’s Committee on Economic Development, was appointed to the city’s Design Review Committee by the City Council on Tuesday.
Donnelly, a construction manager with an engineering degree from Cal Poly Pomona, has lived in San Gabriel for 25 of his 26 years.
