Briefly Told: Billy Crystal, a double winner at last year’s American Comedy Awards, gets a Lifetime Creative Achievement Award on this year’s event, March 3 on ABC. . . . Elton John will perform on “Edna Time,” an hourlong special on Feb. 28 that is a pilot/preview of Dame Edna’s upcoming weekly series on Fox. John’s AIDS Foundation, incidentally, has received a $250,000 donation from King World.
