Furor Over Gays in Military
Much has been made of the fact that gays have been and are now in the military. True. It is also true that before every combat assignment in which I participated, every effort was made to encourage anyone with homosexual tendencies to come forward and be discharged for his own safety and well-being.
The implications motivating this policy may seem uncivilized, but then who said war was civilized?
