Specials highlight the weekend’s viewing choices when NBC socks it to viewers Sunday night at 9 with “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In 25th Anniversary,” featuring original cast members Ruth Buzzi, Arte Johnson, Henry Gibson, Goldie Hawn, Jo Anne Worley, Lily Tomlin and announcer Gary Owens.
CBS counters tonight at 9 with “A Country Music Celebration,” held at the Grand Ole Opry. The show, which celebrates the 35th anniversary of the Country Music Assn., will feature performances by Charlie Daniels, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Mary-Chapin Carpenter, Reba McEntire and Trisha Yearwood.
Vice President Al Gore and Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin will talk about the economy and U.S.-Israeli relations on “This Week With David Brinkley,” Sunday at 10 a.m. on Channel 7; 3 p.m. on Channels 3, 10 and 42.
