Pro Bowl Last Shot for AFC
After what has become an annual embarrassment by its Super Bowl teams, the AFC will try to close the season today with a Pro Bowl victory over the NFC in Honolulu.
The NFC has a 13-9 lead in the Pro Bowl and has won three of the last four games.
“Of course, you would rather win the Super Bowl, but if you don’t, you at least want to win this one,” said Buffalo’s Steve Tasker, a special teams player for the AFC.
With eight players on the AFC team, Buffalo has more representatives than any team other than Houston, which has nine. Dallas, the Super Bowl champion, has six players on the NFC squad, topped only by San Francisco with seven.
