Santa Clara 56, Nordhoff 52-- Dave Varela scored 20 points, and Brian Clark added 15 to pace Santa Clara (19-5, 8-0) in a Frontier League game. Santa Clara trailed, 38-36, but outscored Nordhoff, 20-14, in the fourth quarter.

Providence 83, Holy Martyrs 82 (OT)--Alex Resnevics made two free throws with four seconds left in overtime to lift the host Pioneers (17-4, 7-2) past Liberty League-rival Holy Martyrs (17-4, 7-2). Barry Dabbaghian paced the Pioneers with 28 points. Holy Martyrs’ Sako Balian scored 30.

Muir 62, Glendale 53--The Mustangs’ 11-2 run in the final 3 1/2 minutes lifted Muir (21-4, 8-1) past Glendale (13-10, 3-6) in a Pacific League game. Glendale’s David Sofro scored 20 points and Edwin Bonilla added 12.

Burbank 50, Saugus 44--The third-place Bulldogs (9-13, 5-6) kept their playoff hopes alive with one Foothill League game left. Tyson Helsley and Mike Jonas each had 14.

Paraclete 54, Kern Valley 50--Led by Ruffin Crozat’s 10 points, the Spirits upset the league leader, which had won six games in a row.

Crescenta Valley 71, Hoover 61--Glenn Granz made five of five field-goal attempts and eight of eight free throws for the Falcons (19-3, 7-2) in a Pacific League game. Granz had 18 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and four steals. Adam Jacobsen hit six three-pointers and scored 30 points. Chad Reese led Hoover (8-15, 1-8) with 27 points.

Moorpark 78, Calabasas 56--Micah Hanson scored 13 of his 18 points and Jeff Barry had nine of his 12 in the first quarter, helping Moorpark (10-11, 3-4) to a 31-6 lead in a Frontier League game.

Highland Hall 44, Stephen S. Weiss 39--Jules Holbrook had 16 points and six assists to lead the Hawks (1-17) to their first win.

GIRLS

Buena 88, Oxnard 27--Mikko Giordano scored 20 points and Julie Hardy added 13 to lead Buena in the Channel League game. The win was the 15th in a row for Buena (18-2, 13-0) and clinched the Bulldogs’ fifth league title in a row and 17th in 18 seasons.

Thousand Oaks 60, Royal 42--Marion Jones scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Lancers (25-0, 13-0) past Royal in a Marmonte League game. The Lancers led, 33-18, at halftime.

Village Christian 64, L.A. Baptist 45--Village Christian extended its win streak to 10 and clinched its first Alpha League title in four years. Christy Ludwig scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Crusaders (18-4, 8-0).

Taft 55, San Fernando 28--Julie Kawamoto scored 16 points to lead the Toreadors (7-5, 5-2) in a Northwest Valley League game.

Nordhoff 63, Santa Clara 48--The Rangers (20-1, 7-0) clinched the Frontier League title. Rachel McSorley led Nordhoff with 23 points. Harmony Crutcher scored 15 for Santa Clara (9-10, 6-2).

Burbank 62, Saugus 56--The Bulldogs outscored Saugus, 23-10, in the fourth quarter and made 21 of 28 free throws. Mandy Villasenor scored 20 points and Jocelyn Ferialdi added 17. Jenny Stump had 23 points for Saugus.

Hart 51, Burroughs 34--Shannon Martin scored 22 points and Hart clinched its third Foothill League title in four years. Hart (19-5, 10-0) has won 11 in a row.

Newbury Park 59, Westlake 42--Megan Asbury scored 14 points and Kara McKeown grabbed 13 rebounds for the Panthers (18-6, 10-3) in a Marmonte League game.

Bell-Jeff 49, Mary Star 26--The Guards (24-2, 12-0) clinched the Camino Real League title and won their 20th in a row behind Christina Ticsay’s 12 points and Lori Talley’s 12 rebounds and eight assists.

Alemany 60, Bishop Montgomery 44--Four players scored in double figures to lead the Indians (21-4, 9-2) in a Mission League game.
