A Reseda teen-ager was arrested early Sunday following a stabbing incident that left him and three other men injured--two of them critically, authorities said.

John Gordon, 18, was arrested about 7 a.m. Sunday several hours after a melee erupted at a birthday party in the 18900 block of Erwin Street, Los Angeles Police Detective Phil Quartararo said.

Gordon and some fellow party-goers were involved in an argument that led to the brawl, which broke out about 2:20 a.m. as the party was winding down, Quartararo said. The cause of the argument is unknown.

The fracas left Gordon and three other Reseda men with stab wounds, Quartararo said. Kenneth Felsher, 23, was in critical condition with multiple wounds to his upper body. Val Zaldivar, 22, the party’s host, was also in critical condition with a stab wound to the chest.

Luke Rivard, 24, suffered a stab wound to the chest but was treated and released at a nearby hospital, Quartararo said. Gordon was stabbed in the leg.

Police arrested Gordon after interviewing witnesses and booked him on suspicion of attempted murder. He was being held in Van Nuys Jail without bail, Quartararo said.
