PALO ALTO — Lamond Murray scored 22 points and Jason Kidd broke his school record with 13 assists Sunday, leading California to an 86-61 Pacific 10 Conference victory over Stanford.
The Bears (12-7 overall, 5-5 in the Pac-10) won their second consecutive game under Coach Todd Bozeman, who took over when Lou Campanelli was fired last Monday after several players complained about his coaching methods.
Freshman Dion Cross had 20 points for Stanford (6-16, 1-9).
