SOUTHERN SECTION PLAYOFFS : ROUNDUP : MacIntyre Paces San Clemente
Michelle MacIntyre scored 27 points to help San Clemente to a 57-48 victory over Pasadena in a Division I-A first-round girls’ basketball game Wednesday.
Dana Neatherby added 10 points for San Clemente (15-10), which travels to Perris (25-0) Saturday.
In other Division I-A games:
Santiago 49, West Covina 36--America Robledo scored 29 points for Santiago (18-6), which held West Covina (14-12) to three third-quarter points.
Ontario 53, Century 33--Nina Alexander had 14 points for Century, which finished 12-12.
In Division I-AA:
Lakewood 43, Fountain Valley 38--Kathleen Traw and Robynn Kuhlmann each scored 10 points for the Barons (14-12), who squandered a seven-point first-quarter lead.
