Two Northridge youths and a Reseda man were arrested Tuesday in the shooting death of a 16-year-old girl from Cleveland High School, Los Angeles police said.

Aureliano Vasquez, 18, was arrested along with the youths, described as being ages 16 and 17, Officer Don Cox said. All three were held on suspicion of murder.

Detectives made the arrests based on tips from witnesses to the Monday shooting in which Rocio Delgado was killed and two others wounded, Cox said.

The shooting took place when two groups of teen-agers got into a fight about 3:15 p.m. Monday in the 19100 block of Napa Street near the intersection of Vanalden Avenue, police said.

The shooting occurred just hours after a student was killed by another student at Reseda High School, but police said the incidents did not appear to be related.
