With the Pacific 10 title and an NCAA tournament berth locked up, Arizona moved closer to realizing two more goals Saturday night against Oregon: To be the first team to go unbeaten in the conference and to be the No. 1-seeded team in the West Regional.
The fourth-ranked Wildcats (21-2 overall, 14-0 in the Pac-10) stretched the nation’s longest winning streak to 19 games with a 99-68 rout of Oregon at Tucson.
Arizona’s Chris Mills led the way with 23 points in only 19 minutes. The Wildcats led by as many as 40 points.
The Ducks (9-18, 2-13) suited only eight players after Coach Jerry Green suspended starting guard Andre Collier and two reserves because of curfew violations.
Washington State 87, Stanford 54--Bennie Seltzer scored a career-high 36 points and broke the Pac-10 record for three-point field goals as the Cougars (14-10, 8-7) won at Pullman, Wash.
