Collins, Booth Advance to Surf Quarterfinals
Richie Collins of Newport Beach and Jeff Booth of Laguna Beach both advanced Saturday to the quarterfinals of the $200,000 Body Glove at Seaside Bud Surf Tour event at Seaside Reef in Cardiff.
Jay Reale of San Clemente advanced to the semifinals of the bodyboard event. Joey Hawkins of Huntington Beach and Israel Paskowitz of San Clemente advanced to the quarterfinals of the longboard event.
The event concludes today. Quarterfinals begin at 7 a.m.
