OUTLOOK

The Sea Kings hit 26 home runs last season but lost a lot in Tim DeCinces, C.W. Ramsey and Michael Susson, three of their better hitters. Those losses will make it tough for them to repeat their third-place finish in the beefed-up Sea View League. Angeloni will be counted on to provide the punch. He had four home runs and 26 runs batted in last season. After that, it’s anyone’s guess. The Sea Kings have some experienced players, but they still have to prove themselves at the plate. Fortunately for them, they have some solid pitching. Groat was sensational as a reliever a year ago, finishing with six saves. MacMillan should be the team’s No. 1 starter. He pitched five shutout innings in playoff-clinching victory last season. Wills, Bowman and Hoover also have good arms. The Sea Kings also have five new players in the field, so the defense will take time to mature. The left side is solid when MacMillan is at shortstop.
