In the other semifinal:

Huntington Beach 4, Diamond Bar 0--Kevin Hart pitched a complete-game two-hitter to lead Huntington Beach into Saturday’s 7 p.m. championship game against the Ocean View-Irvine winner at Glover Stadium. Hart struck out four for the Oilers (5-1).

In other tournament games:

Sunny Hills 19, Anaheim 5--Sunny Hills scored 13 runs on nine hits in the fifth inning and had 18 hits in the game. David Fox went five for six, scored five runs and drove in two, Mike Foster had three hits with three runs scored and two RBIs and Bobby Sunderland and Brian Volpp each drove in three runs for the Lancers (4-2).

Katella 4, Dana Hills 3--The Knights (3-1) blew a two-run lead in the sixth, then rallied in the bottom of the inning at Cypress College. Eric Gardiner, who had two hits, singled in the winning run with one out.

El Toro 6, Kennedy 5--Winning pitcher Pat Cotter (1-0), got his first hit of the season, driving in a run. He also struck out five after entering in relief during the fourth inning. Jake Steele had two hits and two RBIs for El Toro (3-1).

University 4, Servite 1--Catcher Scott MacDermott hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning to put University (4-1) ahead. Servite drops to 2-2.

Pacifica 7, Newbury Park 6 (10 innings)--Marty Kinchiloe singled in the 10th inning, driving in Josh Dean for Pacifica (3-3). Matt Bowyer doubled in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game, 6-6, for the Mariners.

Marina 9, Loara 2--Robbie Vermeeren hit a two-run homer and Nate Newton had a three-run double to lead Marina (3-3). Loara fell to 1-3.

Fountain Valley 6, Villa Park 4--Rich Montgomery hit his first home run of the season to drive in two runs in the sixth to put Fountain Valley (3-1) ahead.

La Quinta 9, Cypress 6--Sean Carlson had three hits and scored three runs and C.J. Livernois had two hits and two RBIs for visiting La Quinta (3-1).

Western 5, Santiago 1--Jeff Livingston came in relief, going five innings, and also went two for four with one double and one home run for Western (2-2).
