To the Network: In a reversal of usual television dealings, the educational science series “Beakman’s World” is moving from national syndication to network TV. The 6-month-old series, which is shown locally on KTLA and was endorsed last week by the Washington-based National Foundation for the Improvement of Education, will join CBS’ Saturday morning children’s schedule for the 1993-94 season. It will also continue to be cablecast on the Learning Channel. The live-action series, starring performance artist Paul Zaloom as scientist Beakman, is based on the syndicated comic feature “You Can With Beakman & Jax.”
