All-Star Soccer Match Features 12 Area Players

Twelve area players are on the rosters for tonight’s Mitre/Southern California Boys’ All-Star Soccer Shoot-Out at Cal State Los Angeles.

Goalkeeper Carlos Castellanos (Alemany), midfielders Jon Arroyo (Notre Dame), Sarkis Banyan (Glendale), forward Brian Lopez (Simi Valley) and defenseman Jesus Munoz (Burroughs) are on the Southern Section squad.

Goalkeeper Locke Eldridge (North Hollywood), defender Melvin Campos (Reseda), midfielders Eduardo Jaramillo (Monroe) and Osmin Menjivar (Cleveland), sweeper Rafael Jaramillo (Monroe) and forwards Omar Pasqualato (San Fernando) and Cris Sapera (Grant) are on the City Section team.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.
