Olivia DiCamilli

FORWARD COSTA MESA

DiCamilli, a two-time all-county selection, averaged 20.1 points and 11 rebounds during the regular season and 27.8 points in the playoffs, scoring 44% of her team’s playoff points. A four-year starter, athletic near the basket and able to shoot the three-pointer, DiCamilli (5-10) scored 2,301 career points--the most by an Orange County player. She’s headed to San Diego State. Nicole Erickson

GUARD BREA-OLINDA

Erickson, a junior, returns to the first team averaging 22 points, 5.5 rebounds, 7.3 assists and one State title per year--she’s won three as the Ladycats’ point guard. She can break a press, control a game’s tempo and make her teammates better. Erickson (5 feet 6) shoots from the outside, drives to the basket, finds the open player and then gets open for the return pass. She does it all. Mollie Flint

GUARD CORONA DEL MAR

Opposing coaches never figured out Flint. Standing 5-4 1/2--listed at 5-5--she scored a county-high 27.8 points per game and averaged 8.6 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.4 steals. A four-year starter, she set school records for single-game (40) and career (1,609) scoring. She was 40 of 107 from three-point range (37.4%), and she did it all despite being double- and triple-teamed. Colleen Hudson

CENTER BREA-OLINDA

Hudson, a 6-1 junior, excelled in the big games. She scored 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the section final against Cerritos Gahr, and scored four key points in the fourth-quarter comeback that forced overtime in the victory over Carlsbad. She averaged 17 points and 9.1 rebounds this season, and her work ethic has made her the best big girl in Brea-Olinda’s history. Michelle MacIntyre

GUARD SAN CLEMENTE

MacIntyre, a 5-9 junior, averaged 17.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.1 assists. Her strength is driving to the basket, and she’s a 70% free-throw shooter. She’s also ambidextrous, which helps make her a superb ball-handler. A three-year varsity starter, MacIntyre (466 points) played point guard out of necessity and broke Coach Mary Mulligan’s single-season school scoring record (402 in 1981). Adara Newidouski

FORWARD DANA HILLS

Newidouski’s strength was her strength. One of the county’s best shot putters and discus throwers, she can handle the ball well enough to bring it up the court, post-up and hurt opposing defenses inside. Newidouski (5-10) also did damage outside with her jumper. She averaged 16 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 3.1 steals. Newidouski will attend Cal State Long Beach. Akilah Rodgers

FORWARD RANCHO ALAMITOS

Rancho Alamitos substituted five players at a time, and Rodgers’ contribution to the team was a selfless non-starting role. Still, she contributed plenty as a reserve, averaging 21.5 points, 12.4 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game to help the Vaqueros reach the Southern Section III-A final. A dominating force inside, the 6-0 junior rarely played more than half her team’s minutes. Michaela Ross

FORWARD NEWPORT HARBOR

Athletic and carrying a 4.0 grade-point average, Ross (5-10) returns to the first team with an average of 22 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.2 assists. The only senior on a 20-7 team that won 17 of its last 19 despite always having at least two sophomores on the floor, Ross is going to Cal Poly Pomona. She also eliminated her only areas of weakness--rebounding and defense. Clare Walker

FORWARD HUNTINGTON BEACH

Walker’s concern for her teammates doesn’t stop away from the basketball court. With a 3.8 grade-point average, she offers them academic tutelage as well as basketball insight. Walker (5-10), who will attend Pepperdine, has a fine jump shot and averaged 20.7 points, 15.2 rebounds and 3.1 steals. Her team was 74-30 in four years with her in the starting lineup. Angie White

GUARD CAPISTRANO VALLEY

White was out of position at point guard, but you would never know it by her 19.8 points and 9.2 assists per game. She should have been an off guard. Able to see the open court and get her teammates into the flow of the game, she was deadly with a 15-foot jump shot. A three-year starter, she also guarded the opponents’ best player.
