The Pittsburgh Steelers have until Saturday to match the San Diego Chargers’ one-year, $1.7-million offer to linebacker Jerrol Williams.

The offer is 12 times what Williams made last season. If the Steelers don’t match, they would receive a fourth-round draft choice as compensation because Williams was a fourth-round pick, from Purdue in 1989.
