Margo Harris, of Echo Park, was honored by Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority officials as the millionth passenger to board a Red Line subway train since the system opened Jan. 30.
Harris received a commemorative token, 100 metal tokens good for passage on MTA buses and trains, and $100 gift certificate from Langer’s Delicatessen, located across the street from the Westlake/MacArthur Park station entrance.
Harris is a receptionist for a Los Angeles law firm.
