Lance Neal has been hired as the Cypress High football coach, Athletic Director John Selbe said.
Neal has been an assistant coach at Irvine the past three seasons, the last two as defensive coordinator. Neal is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara, where he was an assistant football coach for two seasons.
