Simi Valley Falls to No. 2 Nationally

Simi Valley High dropped to second nationally in USA Today’s Super 25 weekly baseball rankings after losing to Antioch (Calif.), 13-7, Thursday in the championship game of the High Sierra Classic in Sparks, Nev. Duncanville (Tex.), undefeated in 22 games, is No. 1.
Simi Valley (16-2) is ranked one place ahead of preseason No. 1 Westminster Christian of Miami (21-3).
Senior Brad Fullmer of Montclair Prep has been selected state athlete of the week by Cal-Hi Sports magazine. Fullmer is 35 for 59 (.593 average), with 11 homers and 40 runs batted in.
