In other Sunset League boys’ volleyball:

Marina 3, Ocean View 1--Mike Wirthlin and Mark McAuley led host Marina (3-8, 3-6) to its 15-9, 18-16, 10-15, 15-13 victory with 25 and 20 kills, respectively. Brian Grace and Mike Carney had 37 and 15 kills for Ocean View.

Santa Ana 3, Servite 0--John Boyd and Carlos Volanos led Santa Ana with 11 and six kills, respectively. Jose Diaz had four stuffed blocks and 17 assists for Santa Ana. Servite is 0-9 in league.

In the South Coast League:

Capistrano Valley 3, Dana Hills 1-- Aaron Garcia had 19 kills and Eric Seiffert had 16 for Capistrano Valley (11-0, 5-0), who won, 15-8, 15-5, 13-15, 15-12. Eric McKelvie had 60 assists. Host Dana Hills is 2-3 in league.

In the Garden Grove League:

La Quinta 3, Santiago 1--Middle blocker Pat Ferry had seven kills and four blocks to lead La Quinta (11-1, 8-0) to its 15-6, 15-4, 14-16, 15-7 victory. Sam Ching had 20 kills for Santiago (2-5 in league).
