Briefly: Talk show host Larry King, a recent Peabody Award winner whose “Larry King Live” gained prominence for his coverage of the 1992 Presidential campaign, has signed a six-year contract with CNN. Under the contract, King will be the star of a sixth night of programming in addition to the weekday “Larry King Live.” . . . Cassandra Peterson, in her well-known character of Elvira, will play a psychic in a pilot for a fall CBS prime-time sitcom. Katherine Helmond of “Soap” and “Who’s the Boss” fame plays her ditzy aunt, Minerva. . . . Tony Harris, formerly the weekend anchor for the NBC affiliate in Cleveland, will join Ron Reagan and Andria Hall as a correspondent on Fox News’ upcoming prime-time news magazine series.
