SOCCER : U.S. Beats Malaysian Team, 3-0

The U.S. national soccer team defeated the Malaysian club team Kedah, 3-0, on Thursday night before a crowd of 2,856 at Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo.
Joe-Max Moore scored in the 11th minute, and then performed a cartwheel-backflip in celebration.
Dominic Kinnear scored the second goal in the 64th minute. The goal was set up after Bruce Murray retrieved a loose ball and passed to Peter Vermes, whose cross pass landed at Kinnear’s feet.
Jean Harbor took a pass from Mike Sorber in the 84th minute for the final goal.
