Etherton Blanks Capistrano Valley; Dana Hills Wins
MISSION VIEJO —
Seth Etherton of Dana Hills outpitched Capistrano Valley’s Peter Zamora as the Dolphins won the South Coast League game, 1-0, in eight innings Friday at Capistrano Valley.
Etherton (6-2) pitched a three-hitter with 14 strikeouts and Zamora (5-3) allowed four hits and had 16 strikeouts.
Brian Ralph had an RBI triple in the eighth inning to score Mike Whittaker with the winning run for Dana Hills (13-7, 6-3). Capistrano Valley is 11-7, 4-5.
