Glasser had five hits in six at-bats as he helped the Rams to a pair of Moore League wins. He was 2 for 2 with a run scored and an RBI as Millikan defeated Lakewood, 3-0. He was 3 for 4 and had the only two RBIs in a 2-1 win over Poly. The victories put Millikan in first place in the Moore League.

* John Wurzer, a St. John Bosco senior golfer, shot a personal- and school-best 31, 4 under par, at the Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena. Wurzer had two birdies and an eagle during his nine-hole round. Behind Wurzer, Bosco defeated St. Francis, 181-200.

* Luke Fitzpatrick, a pitcher on the Lakewood baseball team, allowed six hits and went the distance as the Lancers defeated Moore League opponent Wilson, 12-1. He also had three hits and drove in three runs.
