VENTURA : Caltrans to Discuss Freeway Realignment
The California Department of Transportation will hold an open house today to inform residents about a plan to reconstruct the Seaward Avenue interchange of the Ventura Freeway in Ventura.
Caltrans staff members will present displays, respond to questions and gather comments from residents regarding the project. The session will run from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Doubletree Inn, 2055 E. Harbor Blvd., Ventura.
The freeway proposal calls for the widening of Seaward Avenue, the widening of the northbound on- and off-ramps and the relocation of the southbound on-ramp to Harbor Boulevard at Peninsula Street.
