One suspect was in custody Wednesday in the fatal shooting of a young man at a Glendale mini-mall parking lot and a second was being sought, authorities said.
Dimitri Egorov, 27, of Glendale was arrested on suspicion of murder in the death of Henrik Galstyan, 21, police Sgt. Lief Nicolaisen said. He said a second suspect, Thomas Samer Zaza Jr., 25, of Eagle Rock was still at large and “should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.
Galstyan was shot in the head Monday evening at the lot in the 1400 block of East Colorado Street. Police believe the killers and victim knew one another and were involved in a dispute over money.
After the shooting, friends of Galstyan took him to Glendale Adventist Medical Center, where he died Tuesday morning, Nicolaisen said.
Investigators arrested Egorov at a taco stand on Broadway and booked him after questioning.
Anyone with information about Zaza should contact Glendale police at (818) 548-3987 or (818) 548-4911.
