Bell 15, Verdugo Hills 2--Senior Chris Gonzales went 4-for-5 with five RBIs to lead Bell’s 15-hit attack at Verdugo Hills.
William Mendez went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs scored and Val Beltran had two singles, a double, and scored three runs for Bell.
Pitcher John Moreno gave up one unearned run on three hits and struck out three batters in five innings.
