Man’s Body Found in Industrial Area
The body of a man who had been stabbed to death was found by a father playing catch with his daughter Friday in an industrial area of Van Nuys, police said.
The victim, a male in his 20s who has not been identified, was found about 6:15 p.m. between two industrial buildings in the 15500 block of Cabrito Road, Los Angeles police Officer Manuel Martinez said.
“The father apparently kicked the ball up on the roof of a building and when he went up to retrieve it, he looked down and saw the body,” Martinez said.
The victim had been stabbed several times, Martinez said.
Police do not have any suspects, nor do they know the motive for the stabbing or how long the victim had been dead.
