OXNARD : Doctor Accused of Assaulting Patient
An Oxnard chiropractor was arrested on suspicion of sexual battery on one of his female patients during an office visit Wednesday, authorities said.
Todd Binkley, 28, of Oxnard was taken into custody at the Oxnard Police Station after being questioned by detectives. He was being held in Ventura County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
Binkley is accused of sexually assaulting a 28-year-old Port Hueneme woman while he was examining her in his office at 440 S. Oxnard Blvd., police said. The woman, who had been one of Binkley’s patients for two months, reported the incident to police Wednesday, authorities said.
Detectives are looking into other possible assaults by Binkley during the past two months, Lt. Tom Cady said.
