Video Dealers Honor 1993 Hits

“Lethal Weapon 3” was named top action/adventure video, “Sister Act” top comedy video and “Fried Green Tomatoes” top drama video in the Video Software Dealers Assn.’s 1993 “Homer” Awards honoring the year’s most popular movie titles on videocassette.

Other winners included: “Basic Instinct: Original Uncut Director’s Version,” favorite adult video; “Beauty and the Beast,” children’s video; “Hearts of Darkness,” documentary; “Candyman,” horror video; “Billy Ray Cyrus: Live,” favorite music video; and “Casablanca: 50th Anniversary,” favorite classic reissue.
