Philip Hawkey, city manager of Pasadena, has been named the recipient of the 1993 International City/County Management Assn.’s Workplace Diversity Professional Development Award.

Hawkey will be honored at a luncheon Sept. 21 in Nashville, Tenn.

The Workplace Diversity Professional Development Award is given to administrators who have designed outstanding career development programs, policies or practices assisting minorities and women in local government.
