Santa Clarita / Antelope Valley : Man Killed in Single-Car Accident
LANCASTER —
A Lancaster man lost control of his car at more than 100 m.p.h. and it rolled over many times, killing him, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported Monday.
Stacey Sheffield, 33, was killed about 8 p.m. Sunday in the accident on 20th Street East near Avenue H, deputies said. Sheffield, who was alone in the car, was driving north on 20th Street in excess of 100 m.p.h. when he ran off the road for unknown reasons, according to sheriff’s reports.
An investigation of the accident is continuing.
