Lau Places 8th in All-Around Gymnastics
Stephanie Lau, a sophomore at Rio Mesa High, placed eighth in the all-around gymnastics competition of the senior elite national level in the USA Classic last weekend in Austin, Tex.
Lau, 15, will train with the U.S. National team in Colorado Springs from Oct. 14-17.

North Valley Youth Baseball in Granada Hills is accepting signups for its fall season for boys and girls ages 6 through 14.
The season runs from Sept. 12 through Nov. 14. Registration is $50 until Aug. 30, $60 until Sept. 12.
