FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Advisory About Scheduled Freeway Work Areas

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Cerritos: Eastbound connector to the southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; landscaping.

2. Cerritos: Westbound No. 1 lane from Artesia Boulevard to Bloomfield Avenue; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday; crack seal repair.

3. Cerritos: Westbound No. 1 lane from Bloomfield Avenue to Norwalk Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; crack seal repair.

4. Cerritos: Westbound No. 1 lane from Norwalk Boulevard to Pioneer Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; crack seal repair.

5. Cerritos: Westbound No. 1 lane from Pioneer Boulevard to Studebaker Road; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; crack seal repair.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

6. Gardena: Southbound No. 6 lane from Figueroa Street to El Segundo Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday; graffiti removal.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

7. South Gate: Northbound No. 4 lane from the Los Angeles River to Firestone Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday; graffiti removal.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

8. Montebello: Eastbound No. 4 and 5 lanes from Findlay Avenue to Garfield Avenue, including Garfield Avenue off-ramp; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday; guardrail repair.

9. Monterey Park: Westbound No. 5 lane from Findlay Avenue to Atlantic Boulevard, including Atlantic Boulevard off-ramp; 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; pavement repair.

10. Various Cities: Eastbound and westbound No. 1 lanes from Indiana Avenue to Azusa Avenue; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; sweeping.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

11. Cerritos: Northbound connector to the eastbound and westbound Artesia Freeway (91); 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; weed control.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

12. La Mirada: Northbound No. 4 lane from Artesia Boulevard to Rosecrans Avenue; 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

TERMINAL ISLAND FREEWAY (47)

13. Long Beach: Northbound No. 3 lane from Ocean Boulevard to Anaheim Street, including Anaheim Street off-ramp; 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. today; electrical repair.
